Lázaro Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Pasqual in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Uriel Isias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basilio Jobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Isias, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Lázaro Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Isias got free with Basilio Jobo in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lázaro Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Sixto Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when Club Atlethico Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ranko Kvarantan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Ourente came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Juniors FC got a corner. Club Atlethico Talleres's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicanor Porfirio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Daniel Loi hit a great ball. Ezequiel Barco hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Club Atlethico Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Marchiș. Nicanor Porfirio struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Basilio Jobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juniors FC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ranko Kvarantan made a kick off. Filomeno Pasqual took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lázaro Colon. Lázaro Colon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Basilio Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Isias in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Rodrigo Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Porfirio in the 60th minute of play. Uriel Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Jobo having to interfere. Club Atlethico Talleres's Basilio Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Isias in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlethico Talleres's Teodosio Napier got a free kick in the 67th minute. Juniors FC's Severino Garikoitz was substituted for Nicanor Porfirio. In the 69th minute, Teodosio Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basilio Jobo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Club Atlethico Talleres defense, Enrique Frasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Jobo. The Club Atlethico Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Jobo should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Frasco in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Jobo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Enrique Frasco notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Club Atlethico Talleres's Basilio Jobo. Basilio Jobo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute Virgilio Satordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Jobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Jobo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Frasco went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Juniors FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlethico Talleres had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
