The supporters of Club Getafe Deportivo booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Berdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Getafe Deportivo were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Orlo Sarrate took the corner. The corner led Club Getafe Deportivo's Curcio Carballeira to fire away a dangerous shot which Pankracy Glogowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Curcio Carballeira in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Curcio Carballeira was the one to do the kick off. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curcio Carballeira in the 55th minute of play. Club Getafe Deportivo's Henrico Del Bosque shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pankracy Glogowski but with some difficulty. Pankracy Glogowski made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Vlad Ţăranu sent off a good shot on target. Vlad Ţăranu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Club Getafe Deportivo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Atlanta.
