In the 28th minute Pankracy Malicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Newcastle United got a corner. Destroyers F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Paulo Zonta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Olgierd Wojtowicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nono Contreras quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Destroyers F.C.'s Wilson Rosa in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newcastle United's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Vollmar in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nono Contreras saved Destroyers F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 34th minute of play forced Destroyers F.C.'s goalkeeper Nono Contreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nono Contreras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Vollmar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Vollmar was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Vollmar got free with Nono Contreras in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wágner Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mikolaj Jerzyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Pankracy Malicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nono Contreras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 60 minutes into the match, Destroyers F.C.'s goalkeeper Nono Contreras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Pacholewski. Basílio Sousa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thomas Vollmar struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Nono Contreras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United. Nono Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Vollmar, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras got control of the ball when Adam Pacholewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomas Vollmar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Destroyers F.C.'s Caco Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pankracy Malicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Nono Contreras made a huge save.
