Curcio Carballeira started the match with the kick off. Iosu Bastida charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iosu Bastida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Iosu Bastida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Castellano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Florinio's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Curcio Carballeira came free, but Gustavo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rafael Navarro 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The supporters of Club Deportivo Águila booed when Club Getafe Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Getafe Deportivo's attentive Iosu Bastida managed to snatch the ball when Dong Hui Yue made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Club Deportivo Águila's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Curcio Carballeira scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Guimarães, making the score, 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Curcio Carballeira. 28 minutes into the game, Club Getafe Deportivo's Rafael Navarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Curcio Carballeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iosu Bastida kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Club Deportivo Águila's Dário Diniz was substituted for Herminio Florinio. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário Diniz was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Club Getafe Deportivo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rafael Navarro hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when William Corpeño put in a rough tackle. In the 59th minute, one of Club Deportivo Águila:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Deportivo Águila. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Club Getafe Deportivo. Curcio Carballeira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gustavo Guimarães. 4-0. Gustavo Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrico Del Bosque's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Gustavo Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dong Hui Yue hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Gustavo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Carballeira in the 75th minute of play. Gustavo Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Águila defense, Rafael Navarro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Guimarães. The Club Deportivo Águila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Guimarães should have stopped the shot. Club Getafe Deportivo made a substitution. After 94 minutes, Xabat Dobale made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Guimarães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xabat Dobale went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlad Ţăranu in the 99th minute of play.
