Nono Contreras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Isias in the 5th minute of the match. Uriel Isias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nono Contreras having to make a save. In the 6th minute Uriel Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Virgilio Satordi hit a great ball. Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Isias in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the game 范义明 made a throw-in which Marcel Campidelis played forward. Uriel Isias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nono Contreras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Wilson Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Destroyers F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juniors FC the free kick. After 19 played minutes Destroyers F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Rosa. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Lázaro Colon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lázaro Colon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Rosa in the 31st minute. Nono Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Porfirio in the 32nd minute of play. Uriel Isias scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nono Contreras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 45 played minutes Juniors FC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Barco. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Isias was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Destroyers F.C.'s goalkeeper Nono Contreras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nono Contreras came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Juniors FC's Uriel Isias. But to his dismay, Uriel Isias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The throw-in from Haroldo Massa in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Juniors FC's Wlodzimierz Lepper. The crowd rose to their feet as Uriel Isias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nono Contreras. That made the score 0-4 in the 69 minute of play. Juniors FC's Prospero Furman was substituted for Daniel Loi. Juniors FC made a substitution. Severino Garikoitz replaced Nicanor Porfirio. Nono Contreras was a little too slow when Enrique Frasco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-5. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Enrique Frasco took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Nono Contreras to make any attempt to save it. Nono Contreras made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Enrique Frasco sent off a good shot on target. Enrique Frasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Enrique Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras got control of the ball when Enrique Frasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Juniors FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
