Nono Contreras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Lastur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute Saul Baumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nono Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Baumer in the 7th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Saul Baumer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nono Contreras was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Saul Baumer sped through Destroyers F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nono Contreras. Nono Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Baumer in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Destroyers F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Antunes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 16 minutes, Saul Baumer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zuberbühler FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Baumer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nono Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Lamberto in the 21st minute of play. Saul Lamberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mariano Berart hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Destroyers F.C. defense, Saul Baumer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nono Contreras. The Destroyers F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nono Contreras should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Wilson Rosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Napoleon Dziedelonis. Wilson Rosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Ernesto dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Saul Baumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Campidelis during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Destroyers F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Campidelis. Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Lastur in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Venancio Calisto got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Marciano Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Destroyers F.C.'s zone, Saul Baumer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nono Contreras came out of the goal and Saul Baumer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zuberbühler FC's Iwan Sebzda was substituted for Florentino Lastur. After the first half Zuberbühler FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Baumer to strike the kick off in the second half. Nono Contreras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Min in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match, Marciano Min tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nono Contreras saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Saul Baumer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nono Contreras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Baumer in the 63rd minute of play forced Destroyers F.C.'s goalkeeper Nono Contreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Iwan Sebzda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Iruinea in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Destroyers F.C. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Romário Antunes hit a great ball. Zuberbühler FC's Tiberiu Fința was substituted for Venancio Calisto. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nono Contreras showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Destroyers F.C.'s goalkeeper Nono Contreras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iwan Sebzda. Romário Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Jonathan Iruinea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nono Contreras, 1-4. In the 77th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Vachon to maneuver through the defense. Saul Lamberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Nono Contreras made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Sebzda got free with Nono Contreras in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nono Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Sebzda in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Jonathan Iruinea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nono Contreras. The goal made the score 1-5. Nono Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Zuberbühler FC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Destroyers F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abelardo Nardo took the corner. When the match was over Zuberbühler FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Destroyers F.C. throughout the match.
