In the 2nd match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Isias to maneuver through the defense. Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Baumer in the 3rd minute of play. Lázaro Colon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Florentino Lastur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Lázaro Colon made a huge save. Mariano Berart got a throw-in 8 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Florentino Lastur. Nicanor Porfirio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lázaro Colon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentino Lastur went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Lastur. Lázaro Colon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Lastur in the 31st minute. In the 33rd match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kami Glik to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Florentino Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuberbühler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Lastur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Colon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uriel Isias might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Napoleon Dziedelonis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Isias ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon got control of the ball when Saul Baumer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juniors FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Saul Baumer scored to the left of an out of position Lázaro Colon, making the score, 2-0. In the 45th match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Isias to maneuver through the defense. Wlodzimierz Lepper charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wlodzimierz Lepper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Juniors FC got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Lepper. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Juniors FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uriel Isias to strike the kick off in the second half. Juniors FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Zuberbühler FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicanor Porfirio took the corner. The corner led Juniors FC's Uriel Isias to fire away a dangerous shot which Napoleon Dziedelonis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 55th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Altúnov to maneuver through the defense. Zuberbühler FC's Saul Lamberto got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min was substituted for Florentino Lastur. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Cirilo Ebardo replaced Saul Lamberto. 64 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Baumer came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Min in the 66th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Min in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Zuberbühler FC from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zuberbühler FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicanor Porfirio was slow to take the kick. During this time Juniors FC's players had a chance to rest. If Nicanor Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Marciano Min's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Colon was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Min in the 92nd minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Juniors FC's Matias Panpili got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Zuberbühler FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
