Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basel Al Azmi started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Caballo Negro's Pedro Bazkoare got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Gaudencio Gonchan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Van Caels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baqer Al Khobaize read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caballo Negro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abdullah Al Mothaf was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Kuwait's players had a chance to rest. Mnawer Al Sohali kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Caballo Negro's Abel Llorienzo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, U21 Kuwait's Taqi Shadad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Matxin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Taqi Shadad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Bonifacio Matxin made a huge save. In the 35th minute Gaudencio Gonchan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baqer Al Khobaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Artur Van Caels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baqer Al Khobaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baqer Al Khobaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Van Caels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Basel Al Azmi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Van Caels kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artur Van Caels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baqer Al Khobaize made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Bazkoare in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes U21 Kuwait's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abel Llorienzo who took care of the corner kick. Saed Al Hadad tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Baqer Al Khobaize. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 53rd minute. Mnawer Al Sohali charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mnawer Al Sohali the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, U21 Kuwait was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mnawer Al Sohali to maneuver through the defense. Abel Llorienzo, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pedro Bazkoare was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Caballo Negro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Basel Al Azmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Gonchan scored 0-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baqer Al Khobaize, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caballo Negro's Iker Herensuge got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baqer Al Khobaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Herensuge in the 85th minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, U21 Kuwait's Taqi Shadad made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Matxin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Abdullah Al Mothaf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Caballo Negro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U21 Kuwait throughout the match.
