Rune Jarstein came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Società Sport Osasco's CJ Lewandowski. But to his dismay, CJ Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 8th minute Kristian Oswald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Lewandowski in the 11th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute CJ Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes Hertha 1969's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chen Jian who took care of the corner kick. The corner led La Società Sport Osasco's Paulo Esteves to fire away a dangerous shot which Rune Jarstein despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hertha 1969's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chen Jian was slow to take the kick. During this time La Società Sport Osasco's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Demircan Nadi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rubinho Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedikt Bensch, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Stefan Mayer kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La Società Sport Osasco's Paulo Esteves got a free kick in the 20th minute. Zé Paulo da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Tscherner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hertha 1969's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Società Sport Osasco the free kick. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ziemowit Tscherner hit a great ball. Rune Jarstein made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when CJ Lewandowski sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubinho Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Mayer in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Kristian Oswald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 65th minute of the match Demircan Nadi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rune Jarstein skillfully saved the ball. Rubinho Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Melzer in the 69th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Zé Paulo da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demircan Nadi in the 77th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hertha 1969's zone, Ted Rijkaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal and Ted Rijkaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Nils Hovermann replaced Gigel Elenescu. La Società Sport Osasco made a substitution. Bruno Quirino replaced Antonio Reno. Rubinho Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo da Silva in the 83rd minute of the match. Wilhelm Nienhaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Rubinho Lago made a huge save. Rubinho Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Hovermann. With a little luck, La Società Sport Osasco's Rubinho Lago got control of the ball when Wilhelm Nienhaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Paulo da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rubinho Lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La Società Sport Osasco had won after a very even match.
