An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Müller in the 14th minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Mateo Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lech Wawrukiewicz struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Mateo Michael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alemannia Aachen. The audience was convinced that Valter Xabat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Michael was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Xabat in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Michael saved Atlético Nuevo Laredo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Jonathan Martxot got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Mateo Michael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute Valter Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Rojas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Valter Xabat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateo Michael. Valter Xabat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Valter Xabat took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Michael. Mateo Michael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Alemannia Aachen's Louis Leißner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miguel Larpe in the 61 minute of the game. In the 62ndth minute of the game Valter Xabat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Mateo Michael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mateo Michael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valter Xabat's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. The throw-in from Miguel Larpe in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alemannia Aachen's Louis Leißner. In the 64th minute, Louis Leißner made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Michael. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. In the 68th play minute Valter Xabat came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mateo Michael. 0-10. Mateo Michael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Müller went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. Mateo Michael was a little too slow when Thomas Müller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-15. Thomas Müller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alemannia Aachen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
