In the 17th minute, CJ Lewandowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Rojas in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Rigoberto Olentzaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. Zygmunt Haszczak charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for CJ Lewandowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Tobías Astorga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Rubinho Lago when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
