After 20 played minutes LavAzzA got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Lekubegi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gauthier Spiller in the 23rd minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Mateo Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Gauthier Spiller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LavAzzA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Mateo Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuno Kubin in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Rigoberto Olentzaro got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gauthier Spiller in the 39th minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Mateo Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Vase, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Iwan Lepucki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobías Astorga in the 43rd minute. Rigoberto Olentzaro charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Olentzaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Atlético Nuevo Laredo got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Olentzaro. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Rojas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Olentzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Franc Fabra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Vase got free with Mateo Michael in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 played minutes LavAzzA got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Labarra. The supporters of Atlético Nuevo Laredo booed when LavAzzA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuno Kubin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Michael made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Kuno Kubin sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Atlético Nuevo Laredo defense, Kuno Kubin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Michael. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Michael should have stopped the shot. Rodrigo Rojas scored 1-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Lepucki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gauthier Spiller in the 89th minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Mateo Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Michael was a little too slow when Fred Feuerstein got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-5. LavAzzA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
