In the 14thth minute of the game Wilhelm Nienhaus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dromes FC's Benji Price was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigel Elenescu got free with Benji Price in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Wilhelm Nienhaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hertha 1969's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilhelm Nienhaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benji Price breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Dromes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benji Price should have stopped the shot. Wilhelm Nienhaus might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benji Price. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilhelm Nienhaus ran back to his position shaking his head. When Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dromes FC's goalie prevented a goal.
