GrassNuts FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Margarita the free kick. A collision led to GrassNuts FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Pär Almkvist hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy van der Aa in the 11th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Margarita from getting a goal against them. After 16 minutes Santa Margarita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Huang Gang who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Huang Gang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pontus Nordström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 20th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Esbjörn Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy van der Aa in the 36th minute of the match. Esbjörn Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Esbjörn Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Pisarczyk in the 41st minute of play. After 42 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Igor Furtado. When Philip Åkerman came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the GrassNuts FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Åkerman couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Lordi came free, but Esbjörn Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Gerardo Lordi made the kick off in the second half. When GrassNuts FC's Philip Åkerman in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Margarita's goalie prevented a goal. Esbjörn Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santa Margarita made a substitution. GrassNuts FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo De Francesco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eduardo De Francesco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander did a great save. After a rather tough play, GrassNuts FC's Gösta Vennerkvist got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Mauro Icardi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Esbjörn Tunander. The goal made the score 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Icardi in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esbjörn Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 70th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Mauro Icardi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esbjörn Tunander was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The GrassNuts FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when GrassNuts FC's Philip Åkerman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Esbjörn Tunander was a little too slow when Mauro Icardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 3-2. The goalkeeper, Esbjörn Tunander, was totally fooled by Santa Margarita's Eduardo De Francesco, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
