With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Xabat in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Tunander saved GrassNuts FC from getting behind. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when GrassNuts FC's Brian Lindberg in the 8th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jess Carnduff was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Alemannia Aachen through an amazing save. Jess Carnduff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philip Åkerman's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The supporters of Alemannia Aachen booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jess Carnduff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Esbjörn Tunander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valter Xabat scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esbjörn Tunander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Kottsieper in the 28th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Esbjörn Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Alemannia Aachen were awarded a corner. Manfred Kottsieper went to the cornerflag to take it. 35 minutes into the game, Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esbjörn Tunander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 38th minute, GrassNuts FC's Philip Åkerman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jess Carnduff. Jess Carnduff yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Esbjörn Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Xabat in the 41st minute of play. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy van der Aa in the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitaliy van der Aa to strike the kick off in the second half. Valter Xabat might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esbjörn Tunander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valter Xabat ran back to his position shaking his head. GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 52nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Aulis Salomaa in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GrassNuts FC's Fabian Fransson. The corner led Alemannia Aachen's Manfred Kottsieper to fire away a dangerous shot which Esbjörn Tunander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Esbjörn Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Xabat in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th play minute Valter Xabat came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Esbjörn Tunander. 2-3. When Roger Magnusson fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GrassNuts FC's protests and gave Roger Magnusson a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes GrassNuts FC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Magnusson. Valter Xabat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Esbjörn Tunander skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 75th match minute, Alemannia Aachen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Kottsieper to maneuver through the defense. Roger Magnusson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Xabat came free, but Esbjörn Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Fabian Fransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GrassNuts FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alemannia Aachen the free kick. The supporters of Alemannia Aachen booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esbjörn Tunander was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Valter Xabat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valter Xabat really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Fabian Fransson was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 97th match minute, GrassNuts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Fransson to maneuver through the defense.
