The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilson Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moise Vlădean in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cauan Loyola. Jardel Baggio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ysmael Marfil came out and tried to block the shot, but Jardel Baggio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 75thth minute of the game Jardel Baggio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Baggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Jean-Paul Møffelmand got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ysmael Marfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 81 minutes into the match, Edward Huyghebaert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ysmael Marfil. DINAMO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Huyghebaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. During the 87th minute of the match Ryszard Borcz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ryszard Borcz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
