Cyryl Zagrodny showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, MAVARK - Działoszyn's Krzysztof Pawlak got a free kick in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as MAVARK - Działoszyn's Cyryl Zagrodny slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esbjörn Tunander. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. Cyryl Zagrodny received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When Cyryl Zagrodny came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the MAVARK - Działoszyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyryl Zagrodny couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitaliy van der Aa to strike the kick off in the second half.
