Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilhelm Nienhaus started the match with the kick off. Mateo Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Oswald, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 7th minute Kristian Oswald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodrigo Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo da Silva in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Wilhelm Nienhaus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Mateo Michael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mateo Michael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Elenescu in the 18th minute of play. Mateo Michael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristian Oswald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mateo Michael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, Hertha 1969's Kristian Oswald made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Michael was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Jonathan Martxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlético Nuevo Laredo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Hertha 1969. Wilhelm Nienhaus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mateo Michael. 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Mateo Michael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Michael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute Kristian Oswald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hertha 1969 were winning 0-2.

When Gigel Elenescu came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Hertha 1969 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gigel Elenescu couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Martxot during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mateo Michael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 played minutes Atlético Nuevo Laredo got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Bernat. After 72 minutes, Zé Paulo da Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hertha 1969 and the Atlético Nuevo Laredo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Zé Paulo da Silva hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Gigel Elenescu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Mateo Michael. Mateo Michael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78thth minute of the game Wilhelm Nienhaus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Mateo Michael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benedikt Bensch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mateo Michael came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedikt Bensch slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 80th minute. With an all-out effort, Hertha 1969's Mateo Michael threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wilhelm Nienhaus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Paulo da Silva got free with Mateo Michael in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rigoberto Olentzaro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 89th minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Mateo Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Benedikt Bensch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mateo Michael. The goal made the score 0-7. 94 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Michael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Hertha 1969's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
