With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Primeiro in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Michael saved Atlético Nuevo Laredo from getting behind. When Andres Guardado came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the • REGINA • fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Guardado couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Laureano Primeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mateo Michael. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Rodrigo Rojas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Rojas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Tobías Astorga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dobromir Szarmach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 16 played minutes • REGINA • got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Lehoi. Mateo Michael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Csaba Markovits went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Andres Guardado hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, • REGINA •'s goal looked a bit too open when Tobías Astorga came free, but Dobromir Szarmach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Csaba Markovits in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Michael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateo Michael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csaba Markovits in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to • REGINA • getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Yang De Cheng hit a great ball. In the 46th match minute, • REGINA • was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yang De Cheng to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Rojas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, • REGINA •'s Csaba Markovits got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dobromir Szarmach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobías Astorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Rodrigo Rojas took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Dobromir Szarmach to make any attempt to save it. In the 59th minute, Jonathan Martxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match Andres Guardado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Michael skillfully saved the ball. Fabian Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Tobías Astorgas short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Dobromir Szarmach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dobromir Szarmach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Rojas's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Tobías Astorga got a free kick in the 69th minute. Dobromir Szarmach stood somewhat misplaced when Tobías Astorga came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Tobías Astorga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Dobromir Szarmach when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 82 minutes into the game, • REGINA •'s Laureano Primeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Michael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Tobías Astorga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Dobromir Szarmach skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Mateo Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Gabirel in the 88th minute of play. • REGINA •'s attack was well implemented in the 88th minute, but when Gilberto Gabirel was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. • REGINA • were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celso Poncio took the corner. Tobías Astorga's late challenge caught a • REGINA •'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobías Astorga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Tobías Astorga got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 played minutes, • REGINA •'s Baldomero Emenon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mateo Michael came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in • REGINA • reached it. 95 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Kanczuszewski came free, but Mateo Michael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. • REGINA •'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
