Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yonko Stoichkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Yonko Stoichkov came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio. But to his dismay, Leonides Rosio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Mon Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Rüeck in the 9th minute of play. Camilo Mouricio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Mon Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Rehbach in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Elias Honrio hit a great ball. Mon Navarro Montoya made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Hannes Rehbach sent off a good shot on target. Yonko Stoichkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Rosio in the 16th minute of the match. Leonides Rosio scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yonko Stoichkov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 23 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Olarticoechea. With his leg Mon Navarro Montoya managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Leidenschaft's Hannes Rehbach fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th minute of the game Vélaugur Óskarsson made a throw-in which Rudolf Maletz played forward. If George Suminskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mon Navarro Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Rüeck in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Suminskis in the 34th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Mon Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leidenschaft's goalkeeper Yonko Stoichkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Elias Honrio got a free kick in the 40th minute. Severiano Calisto kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Atauri. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 46th minute, when Leidenschaft's Emilio Gualtieri after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Mon Navarro Montoya in San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mon Navarro Montoya came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Leidenschaft's George Suminskis. But to his dismay, George Suminskis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Nahuel Bocaj replaced Venancio Piorno. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold was substituted for Elias Honrio. After 60 minutes, Emilio Gualtieri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leidenschaft and the San Lorenzo de Sarandi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Jerrold got free with Yonko Stoichkov in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Jerrold. A collision led to Leidenschaft getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Daniel Deutsch hit a great ball. Yonko Stoichkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nahuel Bocaj in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Rehbach came free, but Mon Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mon Navarro Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Suminskis in the 80th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Celestino Inko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yonko Stoichkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yonko Stoichkov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celestino Inko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 88 minute of play. Severiano Calisto scored 3-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mon Navarro Montoya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
