Ulrico Herzog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Massó made a huge save. After having played for 10 minutes, Gervaso Abenda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matanza and Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervaso Abenda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Massó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervaso Abenda in the 12th minute. Gervaso Abenda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Massó having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of PLUMIN:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Matanza and Steelers:s goal. 18 minutes into the game, Matanza and Steelers's Jimmy Örtendal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Massó made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when César Lucas came free, but Rodrigo Massó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Massó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Örtendal in the 31st minute of play. Renan Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Örtendal in the 36th minute of play. Higinio Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Renan Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Ferrer was the one to do the kick off. Renan Mendes was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Simon Ferrer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Simon Ferrer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Simon Ferrer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Renan Mendes came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Ferrer slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 88th minute. Rodrigo Massó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrico Herzog, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Higinio Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes of play, PLUMIN's Simon Ferrer made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The PLUMIN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PLUMIN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
