Franco Moscatelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Sulo Montaña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Moscatelli. La Scaloneta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sulo Montaña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Franco Moscatelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sulo Montaña's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Bektaş Veli Ülgü took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franco Moscatelli. La Scaloneta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özgür Özbay in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Moscatelli saved La Scaloneta from getting behind. Franco Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 41st minute of play. Franco Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Sulo Montaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Moscatelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulo Montaña to make the kick off. Franco Moscatelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The La Scaloneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Moscatelli should have stopped the shot. The supporters of LOI booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hamdi Ortan in the 80th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LOI's Sulo Montaña got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Sulo Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sulo Montaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the La Scaloneta defense, Kerimhan Cevher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Moscatelli. The La Scaloneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Moscatelli should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerimhan Cevher in the 95th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LOI played a much better game than La Scaloneta and deserved their victory. The La Scaloneta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
