But to his dismay, Angelo Marko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 played minutes Avelgem ad. Schelde got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Fabry. In the 16th minute, Ferdinand Fabry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Lucas Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Avelgem ad. Schelde booed when Atlético Rovesco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Hustaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinand Fabry was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeroen Maenhout in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Casomiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Avelgem ad. Atlético Rovesco's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niek Molhoek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Fabry in the 85th minute of play forced Atlético Rovesco's goalkeeper Armando Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Fabry scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Casomiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Avelgem ad. Schelde fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atlético Rovesco had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
