Mehmet Fatih Yalım fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Percha having to interfere. In the 16th minute Oswaldo Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Percha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Afyon İdman Yurdu's Erkut Metehan got a free kick in the 17th minute. Evaristo Loureiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Semavi Özguven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Loureiro ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Afyon İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Semavi Özguven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Loureiro. Mehmet Fatih Yalım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cyprian Percha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Levent Kılıc hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Xeromo Toca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mehmet Fatih Yalım recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermengildo Kauldi during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hermengildo Kauldi hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Dionísio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyprian Percha. Maspa Chavexian 08's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswaldo Dionísio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cyprian Percha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Fatih Yalım, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kamer Uram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyprian Percha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Fatih Yalım in the 45th minute of the match.

59 minutes into the match, Afyon İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Loureiro came free, but Semavi Özguven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Fatih Yalım in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cyprian Percha saved Maspa Chavexian 08 from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Afyon İdman Yurdu's Cyprian Percha threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mehmet Fatih Yalım, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Maspa Chavexian 08 made a substitution. Vicente Oropeza replaced Waldemar Puch. Evaristo Loureiro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Cyprian Percha made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Oswaldo Dionísio sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd match minute, Afyon İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levent Kılıc to maneuver through the defense. Maspa Chavexian 08 made a substitution. Rene Cimbron replaced Evaristo Loureiro. Maspa Chavexian 08's Matamba Franquesa was substituted for Xeromo Toca. After 74 played minutes Afyon İdman Yurdu got a freekick which was hit by Levent Kılıc. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamer Uram got free with Cyprian Percha in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Afyon İdman Yurdu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maspa Chavexian 08 throughout the match.
