Funebrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Lizardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 54th minute of the match Funebrero FC got a corner. Eleven Young Elephants's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. German Tallia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nestor Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren Carabott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Aaron Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funebrero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Lizardi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Tanti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Funebrero FC's Aaron Lizardi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Carabott in the 63rd minute of play forced Funebrero FC's goalkeeper Nestor Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Eleven Young Elephants's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kara-Murat Goiano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aaron Tanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Emeterio in the 90th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
