An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Ferrão in the 24th minute of play forced Afyon İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Semavi Özguven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Jakub Gonsiewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Luzim's Nicolas Neto did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Zarco to make the kick off. Oswaldo Dionísio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Dionísio in the 55th minute of play forced SC Luzim's goalkeeper Nicolas Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kamer Uram's late challenge caught a SC Luzim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kamer Uram helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Afyon İdman Yurdu got a freekick which was hit by Kamer Uram. Afyon İdman Yurdu's Hüsamettin Refi was substituted for Mehmet Fatih Yalım. Afyon İdman Yurdu's Ahmet Ozan Kaptan was substituted for Jakub Gonsiewski. Semavi Özguven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.
