The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of SC Luzim booed when Atlético Rovesco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryszard Domin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Casomiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Albuquerque in the 18th minute of play forced Atlético Rovesco's goalkeeper Armando Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Casomiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Salvador Poças showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Albuquerque in the 27th minute of play forced Atlético Rovesco's goalkeeper Armando Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Rovesco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vítor Bettencourt was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Luzim's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Atlético Rovesco's Fulgencio Ciano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Luciano Admon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renato Ferrão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Armando Casomiro made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Ferrão got free with Armando Casomiro in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 minutes Atlético Rovesco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vítor Bettencourt who took care of the corner kick. In the 42nd match minute, SC Luzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Nabar hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas Zarco could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Armando Casomiro however easily saved by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Zarco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucas Zarco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Atlético Rovesco's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Poças came free, but Armando Casomiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute SC Luzim were awarded a corner. Vítor Bettencourt went to the cornerflag to take it. Armando Casomiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Zarco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Salvador Poças had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Atlético Rovesco's Nicolas Neto threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucas Furtado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Atlético Rovesco's Armando Casomiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Normando Sanches in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Salvador Poças ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Casomiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Armando Casomiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Zarco's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Atlético Rovesco's Armando Casomiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Albuquerque in the 81st minute of play. Armando Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Ferrão in the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes SC Luzim got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Cruz. When 江凡坚 came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Atlético Rovesco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 江凡坚 couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes of play, SC Luzim's Jorge Albuquerque made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Casomiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armando Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Poças in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Salvador Poças had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Casomiro. Atlético Rovesco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Poças was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Luzim had played much better football throughout.
