A well-hit corner resulted in Oswaldo Dionísio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Fatih Yalım in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Guillelmus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Elias Emeterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Funebrero FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29th minute Mehmet Fatih Yalım shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Semi Tümerdem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Funebrero FC's attentive Piarres Cabredo managed to snatch the ball when Taner Kutsal made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. In the 54thth minute of the game Aaron Lizardi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Afyon İdman Yurdu's Semavi Özguven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aaron Lizardi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Semavi Özguven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Nestor Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Fatih Yalım, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Aaron Lizardi took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Semavi Özguven to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute Jakub Gonsiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Semavi Özguven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afyon İdman Yurdu's Hüsamettin Refi was substituted for Mehmet Fatih Yalım. Afyon İdman Yurdu's Ahmet Ozan Kaptan was substituted for Jakub Gonsiewski. Kara-Murat Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Semavi Özguven made a huge save.
