Kılıç Samil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Aaron Tanti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Kanatlı Süvariler defense, Darren Carabott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uğurcan Nazım. The Kanatlı Süvariler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uğurcan Nazım should have stopped the shot. After 37 played minutes Kanatlı Süvariler got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Ozan Metiner. In the 37th minute of the match Darren Carabott sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uğurcan Nazım skillfully saved the ball. Uğurcan Nazım made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatko Zahovič in the 39th minute of play. Fabio Savona kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A hard shot by Semih Elmas from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Aaron Tanti's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Zlatko Zahovič came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Eleven Young Elephants fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zlatko Zahovič couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatko Zahovič in the 48th minute of play forced Kanatlı Süvariler's goalkeeper Uğurcan Nazım to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Bueno got free with Uğurcan Nazım in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 55 minutes, Kılıç Samil made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Eleven Young Elephants's Aaron Tanti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muharrem Kılıçalp in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Tanti saved Eleven Young Elephants from getting behind. Eleven Young Elephants were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Kanatlı Süvariler's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Darren Carabott took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Darren Carabott got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Uğurcan Nazım quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Kanatlı Süvariler's Baybars Acunalp got a free kick in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Kanatlı Süvariler's Uğurcan Nazım got control of the ball when Zlatko Zahovič tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, Kanatlı Süvariler's Muharrem Kılıçalp made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Tanti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Uğurcan Nazım took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatko Zahovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino Bueno in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uğurcan Nazım prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Eleven Young Elephants getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. António Silva hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes, Kanatlı Süvariler's Cihan Alemdar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aaron Tanti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kanatlı Süvariler reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kılıç Samil in the 89th minute of play forced Eleven Young Elephants's goalkeeper Aaron Tanti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
