With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zarando Calva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shi Jian might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Guillelmus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shi Jian ran back to his position shaking his head. Nestor Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aires Laguno, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of Funebrero FC booed when Atlético de Caracas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janes Gobbelijns didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Caracas's Sixto Lluc got a free kick in the 64th minute. Zarando Calva made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Aaron Lizardi sent off a good shot on target. Benigno Claus hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Atlético de Caracas made a substitution. Ponce Roig replaced Aires Laguno. After 81 played minutes Funebrero FC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Claus. Nestor Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponce Roig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Funebrero FC's Nestor Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janes Gobbelijns in the 86th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Funebrero FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
