In the 9th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diguinho Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goalkeeper Diguinho Carioca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hungary's goalie and right to Genílson da Silva. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hungary's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Genílson da Silva got a free kick in the 28th minute. Clayton Pedron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arthur Barbosa's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arthur Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Arthur Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diguinho Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clayton Pedron to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Diguinho Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save C o n f i a n ç a - SE from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Clayton Clayton got a free kick in the 59th minute. Diguinho Carioca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Takacs Tibor in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goalkeeper Diguinho Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Diguinho Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Pedron in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when C o n f i a n ç a - SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Donose didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Genílson da Silva got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clayton Pedron in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Clayton Pedron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 79 minutes in the game, Clayton Pedron dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when C o n f i a n ç a - SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clayton Clayton didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Bakos Endre in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Valer Donose. With a little luck, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
