Afyon İdman Yurdu's attentive Ayvaz Sayar managed to snatch the ball when Antonio Preda made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdullatif Taykoç in the 40th minute of play forced Lenzima Juniors MZ™'s goalkeeper Carter Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Preda during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute of the match Enrico Croce shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristóf Kálmán showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

A collision led to Afyon İdman Yurdu getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Müfit Kadi hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Bruno Mameli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filippo Puddu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
