After 8 minutes, Vitório das Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desportivo Coala and the Afyon İdman Yurdu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório das Neves to maneuver through the defense. Bernardinho Sharkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akil Tunçkurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Saruhan Tanırcan came free, but Bernardinho Sharkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardinho Sharkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saruhan Tanırcan in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Abdullatif Taykoç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afyon İdman Yurdu's Kristóf Kálmán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Salles in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Afyon İdman Yurdu's Resul Çubukcu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Onur Bekata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristóf Kálmán having to make a save. Bernardinho Sharkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdullatif Taykoç, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Kristóf Kálmán made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Onur Bekata sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Akil Tunçkurt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardinho Sharkin was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The supporters of Desportivo Coala booed when Afyon İdman Yurdu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yüksel Şavat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Akil Tunçkurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho Sharkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Desportivo Coala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Müfit Kadi was slow to take the kick. During this time Afyon İdman Yurdu's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Müfit Kadi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Desportivo Coala's Bernardinho Sharkin did a great save.
