But to his dismay, Wasyl Dziurowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Leonello Messias came free, but Tanek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Ostrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Sârban in the 19th minute of play. Konstanty Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Domeracki in the 21st minute of play. Konstanty Wawro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stanislaw Walczak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Domeracki in the 26th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's goal looked a bit too open when Tirso Isasaga came free, but Konstanty Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
