The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. José Maria Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Paraibano in the 51st minute of the match. Alfredo Martins took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Goiano. In the 54thth minute of the game Alfredo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nestor Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Goiano having to interfere. Dida Taffarel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zeng Xu Yuan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 59 minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Maria Goiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute Nestor Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The Marquês de Herval supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Poetass FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Poetass FC.
