Cristiano Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benson Beverley, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Benson Beverley kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Boguslaw Makarewicz made the kick off in the second half. Benson Beverley had several of the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Cristiano Messias as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cayetano Monico was substituted for Igor Milko. Remigiusz Paciuszko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mestre GG's Nilton Brito got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Monico in the 83rd minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Mestre GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Makarewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mestre GG players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
