The Relyn Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 31 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Matorin. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alexandre Thanos hit a great ball. Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Durval Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Danielsson in the 79th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Vitório Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, 吴洲坚 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Santoss short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Allan Varela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Eugênio Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra do Interior's protests and gave Eugênio Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. The Relyn Futebol Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
