Napoleon Jajko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Pombal in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Palacio got free with Carlos Augusto Arósio in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Zemantauskas FC's Carlos Augusto Arósio got control of the ball when Czeslaw Pawlak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Carlos Augusto Arósio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Mateo Palacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Augusto Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zjem Cię's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Humberto Terra was slow to take the kick. During this time Zemantauskas FC's players had a chance to rest. Carlos Augusto Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Czeslaw Pawlak in the 41st minute. Napoleon Jajko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Pombal in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wasyl Dejo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Augusto Arósio saved Zemantauskas FC from getting behind. Zjem Cię's Wasyl Dejo managed to work through Zemantauskas FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Wasyl Dejo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.
