Cristiano Messias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerson Carneiro went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 8 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Nagoi De la Torre. Cristiano Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Cristiano Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witalis Brysz's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Dagoberto Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moisés Arruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. If Igor Milko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Witalis Brysz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cristiano Messias. Cristiano Messias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristiano Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Dagoberto Moraes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Moisés Arruda. Moisés Arruda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 32 minutes into the match, Igor Milko notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda. Moisés Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Dagoberto Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cássio Maia struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Cristiano Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poetass FC. Cristiano Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Brysz in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Moraes got free with Moisés Arruda in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
In the 50th match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nagoi De la Torre to maneuver through the defense. 51 minutes into the game, Igor Milko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Moisés Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Moraes in the 55th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Moisés Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Dagoberto Moraes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nildo de Souza got free with Cristiano Messias in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igor Milko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Moisés Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Madureira in the 88th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Milko in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés Arruda saved Poetass FC from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Igor Milko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jon-Egil Schjelderup charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jon-Egil Schjelderup the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jon-Egil Schjelderup hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Zé Carlos Madureira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Dagoberto Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Poetass FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
