Xie Shu Tian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Ibon Obeso kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Pecém's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Milko came free, but Denílson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pecém's Denílson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Milko in the 12th minute of play. Pecém's Ibon Obeso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luiz Paulo Dracena, made in the 14th minute of the game. Ibon Obeso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Messias having to make a save. In the 20th minute Pecém were awarded a corner. Ibon Obeso went to the cornerflag to take it. Pecém's Ibon Obeso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristiano Messias in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute, Igor Milko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cristiano Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Austin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Igor Milko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denílson Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Moraes in the 35th minute of play forced Pecém's goalkeeper Denílson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Xie Shu Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Antunes during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pecém's Arnaldo Antunes got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Milko to make the kick off. Denílson Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Milko in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Pecém's goalkeeper Denílson Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Milko. Pecém's Denílson Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Pecém from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Luiz Paulo Dracena in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pecém's Ibon Obeso. 65 minutes into the match, Pecém's Xie Shu Tian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Messias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Pecém was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ made a substitution. Nico Alvarenga replaced Brandon Norton. After 69 played minutes Pecém got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo de Carvalho. Dagoberto Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Leão having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Dagoberto Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
