The audience thought a goal was coming when Niilo Mikkola got free with Jo Øverås in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Bonet in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinei Pinheiro saved SeleSantos FC from getting behind. In the 8th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 63rd minute of play. Peng Song Ting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leif Törnqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jo Øverås read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niilo Mikkola to maneuver through the defense. Dinei Pinheiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mats Bentsen. Teofil Chrzan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dinei Pinheiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Teofil Chrzan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Luis Bonet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dinei Pinheiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daustad were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after SeleSantos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mats Bentsen took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bonet in the 83rd minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
