AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 3rd minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Kopacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Kopacz in the 11th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Despidida AFC's Justino Elequemedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Fulgencio Eyague despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 14th minute Emiliano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Kopacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Selatse was a little too slow when Peep Pronk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. 25 minutes in the game Justino Elequemedo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Oliver Rizzo. After some careless play in the AC LeX Luthor defense, Emiliano Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Eyague. The AC LeX Luthor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Eyague should have stopped the shot. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peep Pronk in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 30th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Emiliano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peep Pronk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernando Selatse came out and tried to block the shot, but Peep Pronk slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Kopacz in the 36th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Eyague stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Czeslaw Kopacz's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Emiliano Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fulgencio Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match, Pedro Lucas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernando Selatse saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, AC LeX Luthor's Fernando Selatse threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karl-Axel Kielstedt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 42nd match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Elequemedo to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Peep Pronk might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Selatse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peep Pronk ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peep Pronk in the 52nd minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Czeslaw Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game Czeslaw Kopacz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Ancho Branca replaced Czeslaw Kopacz. Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez was substituted for Emiliano Velasco. When Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC LeX Luthor's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Toro Martínez sped through AC LeX Luthor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fulgencio Eyague. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Alvaro Errando replaced Peep Pronk. AC LeX Luthor's Zeledon Savion was substituted for Pedro Lucas. Fernando Selatse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Errando's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Toro Martínez struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Fulgencio Eyague didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. Julian Boni made in the 78th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zeledon Savion. In the last second Fulgencio Eyague throw himself and got hold of the ball when Toro Martínez in the 91stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Despidida AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
