GitGelGele's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferman Yakup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Bon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Cyrus Otieno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Emir Başeğmez. GitGelGele's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyrus Otieno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 25th minute, Paul Keter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REAL KÊNIA♣ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Musimbi Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GitGelGele's Ahmet Emir Başeğmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Keter in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Ngigi was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Musimbi Sang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ahmet Emir Başeğmez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th minute Moses Obala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Emir Başeğmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Moses Obala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Emir Başeğmez. That made the score 0-10 in the 67 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as REAL KÊNIA♣'s Musimbi Sang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Emir Başeğmez. That made the score 0-11 after 71 minutes of play. 80 minutes into the game, Cyrus Otieno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Emir Başeğmez. GitGelGele's Çağdaş Kamber quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 85 minutes into the match, Paul Keter notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of GitGelGele's Ahmet Emir Başeğmez. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, REAL KÊNIA♣'s Cyrus Otieno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Emir Başeğmez. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-16. The GitGelGele fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. REAL KÊNIA♣ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
