To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shawn Hambrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eike Hain struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Şensoy Tecer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lewix. In the 16th minute, Atıf Servet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Beşiktaş booed when FC Lewix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moses Neudorf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shawn Hambrecht kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Atıf Servet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefan Nülle. Atıf Servet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Moses Neudorf came free, but Şensoy Tecer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atıf Servet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serbülent Develi during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Lewix booed when Beşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serbülent Develi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atıf Servet to make the kick off. Şener Makbul's late challenge caught a FC Lewix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şener Makbul helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Lewix booed when Beşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Nülle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atıf Servet in the 68th minute of play. Eike Hain struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. After 79 played minutes FC Lewix got a freekick which was hit by Adam Feil. Zekeriya Uskan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Nülle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zekeriya Uskan in the 80th minute of play. Shawn Hambrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Beşiktaş's Şensoy Tecer got control of the ball when Shawn Hambrecht tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beşiktaş's Şensoy Tecer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Beşiktaş from getting a goal against them.
