Carrickmore's Breanainn Doherty got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paudraig Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Jaszynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Breanainn Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Lodowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ksawery Lodowy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Breanainn Doherty's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When Remigiusz Derlanga fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IKS Polonia Iłża's protests and gave Remigiusz Derlanga a yellow card for diving instead. Remigiusz Derlanga kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ksawery Lodowy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Branson Gollogley, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Breanainn Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paudraig Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Piglowski in the 18th minute of the match. Paudraig Johnson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigiusz Derlanga's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Carrickmore's Bren Robinson got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Kacper Jaszynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IKS Polonia Iłża's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kacper Jaszynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ksawery Lodowy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Branson Gollogley, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, IKS Polonia Iłża's goal looked a bit too open when Breanainn Doherty came free, but Ksawery Lodowy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, IKS Polonia Iłża's Fabian Piglowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Piglowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kacper Jaszynskis short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Paudraig Johnson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Remigiusz Derlanga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paudraig Johnson having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Piglowski got free with Paudraig Johnson in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Bren Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Branson Gollogley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ksawery Lodowy made a huge save. Carrickmore's Bercan McIan got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Carrickmore defense, Fabian Piglowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paudraig Johnson. The Carrickmore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paudraig Johnson should have stopped the shot. Carrickmore's Paudraig Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Piglowski in the 59th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Kacper Jaszynski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrickmore's Paudraig Johnson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Fabian Piglowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ksawery Lodowy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breanainn Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute.
