Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Pogradeci FCA's Lane Key started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Branson Gollogley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrickmore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Branson Gollogley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was a well-played corner which Branson Gollogley managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Pogradeci FCA's Lane Key got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luciano Sito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breanainn Doherty in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Breanainn Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Sito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pogradeci FCA getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Roman Brock hit a great ball. After 30 minutes of play, Carrickmore's Breanainn Doherty made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Sito was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Bercan McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breanainn Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paudraig Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarod Jean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Scot McNair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breanainn Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Luciano Sito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Branson Gollogley might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luciano Sito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Branson Gollogley ran back to his position shaking his head. Bren Robinson charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bren Robinson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pogradeci FCA booed when Carrickmore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bren Robinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paudraig Johnson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roman Brock. Matt Esquivel kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Branson Gollogley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Scot McNair hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Branson Gollogley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Sito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breanainn Doherty in the 74th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Lane Key who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrickmore's Paudraig Johnson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jarod Jean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Scot McNair during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pogradeci FCA's Scot McNair got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Bradon Kirby sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Sito skillfully saved the ball. When Carrickmore's Branson Gollogley in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pogradeci FCA's goalie prevented a goal. Breanainn Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Luciano Sito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Sito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breanainn Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sol Roberson's late challenge caught a Carrickmore's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sol Roberson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pogradeci FCA's Sol Roberson got a free kick in the 95th minute. Pogradeci FCA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
