Benny Leibrandt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Rütten in the 10th minute. Benny Leibrandt was a little too slow when Herbert Rütten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to Boven FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Manfred Mayrhofer hit a great ball. Benny Leibrandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Schmithuysen in the 17th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Max Dickhoff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boven FC's Matthäus Fischer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Beigheşm FC's Niko Michallek got a free kick in the 25th minute. Florian Schmithuysen struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Benny Leibrandt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boven FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Schmithuysen in the 33rd minute of play forced Beigheşm FC's goalkeeper Benny Leibrandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Herbert Rütten made a precise shot to the right of Benny Leibrandt. Beigheşm FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Dickhoff in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthäus Fischer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boven FC's Florian Schmithuysen got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Max Dickhoff took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matthäus Fischer. Matthäus Fischer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Max Dickhoff made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Rütten in the 54th minute of play forced Beigheşm FC's goalkeeper Benny Leibrandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Boven FC booed when Beigheşm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samir Nauert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthäus Fischer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Max Dickhoff went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Herbert Rütten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boven FC's goalkeeper Matthäus Fischer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Beigheşm FC's Samir Nauert got a free kick in the 70th minute. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Florian Schmithuysen sped through Beigheşm FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benny Leibrandt. Manfred Mayrhofer's late challenge caught a Beigheşm FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfred Mayrhofer helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Boven FC got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Mayrhofer. After 83 minutes, Thomas Benedikt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boven FC and the Beigheşm FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Boven FC's Thomas Benedikt got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Rolf Patschull fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beigheşm FC's protests and gave Rolf Patschull a yellow card for diving instead. Max Dickhoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthäus Fischer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niko Michallek in the 91st minute of play forced Boven FC's goalkeeper Matthäus Fischer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Primus Heber fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beigheşm FC's protests and gave Primus Heber a yellow card for diving instead. Boven FC's Herbert Rütten got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Max Dickhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Beigheşm FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boven FC.
