Clooncoose's Earnán Savic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Mangueira in the 8th minute of play. Irwin Tracy charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Irwin Tracy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Irwin Tracy hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Colheres's zone, Irwin Tracy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Fernando Zonta came out of the goal and Irwin Tracy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Fernando Zonta was a little too slow when Brannon Duggan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duarte Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game Norberto Monteiro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Abelardo da Fonseca. Brannon Duggan took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Fernando Zonta. Carlos Fernando Zonta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 57th match minute, Colheres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Colheres's goal looked a bit too open when Brannon Duggan came free, but Carlos Fernando Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match Clooncoose got a corner. Colheres's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tevin McPeter ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Irwin Tracy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colheres's Carlos Fernando Zonta did a great save. The Clooncoose fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Clooncoose's Irwin Tracy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Norberto Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Brannon Duggan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Fernando Zonta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Félix in the 69th minute of play forced Clooncoose's goalkeeper Earnán Savic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Brannon Duggan made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Fernando Zonta. Colheres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Clooncoose's Brannon Duggan got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Colheres's goal looked a bit too open when Brannon Duggan came free, but Carlos Fernando Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Brannon Duggan came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Clooncoose fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannon Duggan couldn't finish the play. Brannon Duggan struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Carlos Fernando Zonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clooncoose. Colheres's Carlos Fernando Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brannon Duggan in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Brannon Duggan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Fernando Zonta. Colheres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brannon Duggan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Clooncoose's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
