After 2 played minutes Pogradeci FCA got a freekick which was hit by Klodian Kasapi. 3 minutes into the match, Herbert Rütten notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pogradeci FCA's Aldo Meta. Aldo Meta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute, Pogradeci FCA's Klodian Kasapi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Klodian Kasapi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pogradeci FCA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Klodian Kasapi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Klodian Kasapi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Schmithuysen in the 9th minute of play forced Pogradeci FCA's goalkeeper Aldo Meta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Meta made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Herbert Rütten sent off a good shot on target. Kajo Qose blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matthäus Fischer having to make a save. A collision led to Boven FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Herbert Rütten hit a great ball. Matthäus Fischer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonin Roçi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tonin Roçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Herbert Rütten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boven FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Boven FC's Matthäus Fischer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klime Cana in the 40th minute of play. Pogradeci FCA's Aldo Meta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Schmithuysen in the 46th minute of play. If Arqile Muçollari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arqile Muçollari was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Herbert Rütten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Meta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fran Lamce in the 55th minute of play forced Boven FC's goalkeeper Matthäus Fischer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Florian Schmithuysen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Meta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Boven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Pierron to maneuver through the defense. When Mazllum Murati came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Pogradeci FCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazllum Murati couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Herbert Rütten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Meta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Boven FC's zone, Tonin Roçi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthäus Fischer came out of the goal and Tonin Roçi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Boven FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Anton Brunck hit a great ball. Pogradeci FCA's Klime Cana got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Klime Cana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthäus Fischer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Rütten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Benedikt in the 76th minute of play forced Pogradeci FCA's goalkeeper Aldo Meta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Boven FC booed when Pogradeci FCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonin Roçi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pogradeci FCA's Aldo Meta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Rütten in the 82nd minute of play. Thomas Benedikt hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Arqile Muçollari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Boven FC's Manfred Mayrhofer got a free kick in the 86th minute. Sulejman Starova could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Matthäus Fischer made a huge save. After having played for 89 minutes, Tonin Roçi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogradeci FCA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tonin Roçi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florian Schmithuysen in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Meta saved Pogradeci FCA from getting behind. After having played for 95 minutes, Arqile Muçollari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogradeci FCA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arqile Muçollari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pogradeci FCA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Boven FC had won, even though Pogradeci FCA had held more of the ball.
