The referee ignored Pogradeci FCA's protests and gave Freddy Dewitt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pogradeci FCA's Freddy Dewitt got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 3 minutes, Florian Schmithuysen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boven FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Schmithuysen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Boven FC's Jonas Fenstermacher got a free kick in the 5th minute. After having played for 6 minutes, Marvin Dubose managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 13th of the match, Jonas Fenstermacher tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Luciano Sito got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marvin Dubose in the 15th minute of play forced Boven FC's goalkeeper Matthäus Fischer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Marvin Dubose's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matthäus Fischer was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Matthäus Fischer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marvin Dubose in the 20th minute of play. Florian Schmithuysen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Sito having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Cesar Jacobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pogradeci FCA's Luciano Sito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Pleschke in the 32nd minute of play. Luciano Sito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Fenstermacher made a kick off. Luciano Sito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Schmithuysen in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, Pogradeci FCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scot McNair to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Pogradeci FCA's Lane Key sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matthäus Fischer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute Florian Schmithuysen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Sito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Anton Brunck came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Boven FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Brunck couldn't finish the play. Jonas Fenstermacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Luciano Sito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Freddy Dewitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Florian Schmithuysen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Sito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Boven FC's Florian Schmithuysen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Sito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lane Key recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 2-0 became the score in the 90th minute when Florian Schmithuysen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Boven FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pogradeci FCA for a fine match.
